More B&W portrait

From a few years ago. Sorry about the dust. We all learn from our mistakes! Lesson here, raise and angle main light. Any thoughts?

I'm gonna go with the second one. I like mystery in a photo and not being able to make out every detail in her face is what I like.
I think with the first one there is maybe a little too much backlight, She has a great expression on her face but the lighting around her hair takes my attention away from her expression.

Thank you for the input. I always liked the expression in the first. I like the second for the detail in her eye. But I screwed up on the light position.
