You might not want them posting here (and if you don't, I'll totally understand!) but I am a member of quite a few photography forums. If you would like me to post a list, I can do. Just give me the nod if you do, or I'll fully understand if you don't. :)

No, I think it's ok. How about this... you post the list, and every forum you list, post a link on their forum back here. ;)

It may not hurt as much as you think. It may not hurt at all. In fact, I have links to competitors, I wrote a commentary about a competitor, and I even advertise competitors, but ... the traffic does not seem to go up or down. It might make you look like you have fair viewpoint. Just my opinion though ...

Yeah, the more I learn about website/search engine optimization, the more I've realized it's not such a bad thing. Actually, if you seach for photography forums (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=photography+forums&ei=UTF-8&fr=fp-tab-web-t&cop=mss&tab=) on yahoo, you'll see that this thread is (currently) listed at spot #17. This thread, not the main site on the page... but hey, can't go wrong with that... ;)
