I did a quick search and didnt really see anything like this.. I was wondering if you guys had your own in house studios and if so.. maybe you can post a picture as to what it looks like.
Im just curious as to wait kind of equipment you'd need for a basic home studio.
Thanks.

My studio used to be in my house, a few years ago. Really, you can use many different thing. Try doing a search for light tents, hot lights, studio strobes, makeshift backdrop stands, etc. There's a multitude of things you can do "on the cheap".
Really, what equipment you choose doesn't have to be dictated by where you choose to set it up. As long as you have plenty of room :)

My backdrop frame is PVC Pipe. You can get different materials cheap from smaller upholstery shops, that sell scraps, or fabric shop sales like Joanns or Hancocks. Of course it helps having a wife who is an excellent seamstress, but you get the idea.
I'm still working on lights, but I'm working with 3x 300 watt Home Depot lights. I have yet to actually set it all up. LOL...but it's in my basement ready to go. Have used the light tent and the light though for some macros. They worked great considering the cost and the fact that I don't have disposable income for my hobby.

Thanks for the replies, guys.
I think Im going to go the Home Depot light route for now and just play with it til I get the desired affect... As I get better, I'll look into the getting 'professional' style equip. that backdrops seem pretty easy..
If I get it together soon, I'll be sure and post some pics.
