Good slrs for eyeglass wearersLowrideril March 1st, 2005, 05:57 PM which slr is best for eyleglass wears as far as focusing through the veiwfinder. RobW March 1st, 2005, 06:04 PM Nearly all the modern SLR's have viewfinder diopter correction for eyeglass wearers or those of us with less than perfect vision. So just look for one with a diopter correction wheel (which shouldn't be difficult...) ohenry March 1st, 2005, 06:06 PM You can always add a special eyecup for glasses to any major SLR and most of them offer dioptic adjustments, as well. Canon and Nikon get my vote (but I'm biased to those two :) ) Cleo March 1st, 2005, 07:18 PM I have to agree with ohenry, Canon & Nikon, and I also agreee that he is biased. ;) ohenry March 1st, 2005, 07:24 PM I have to agree with ohenry, Canon & Nikon, and I also agreee that he is biased. ;) Just because I've shot Nikon and Canon cameras exclusively since 1975 doesn't make me biased .... just discrimanatory :) Patman10 March 1st, 2005, 08:45 PM Leica has had a adjusted diopter eye piece since the Leica IIIf, in the 40's! leptokurtotic March 1st, 2005, 09:10 PM Leica has had a adjusted diopter eye piece since the Leica IIIf, in the 40's! Hmm. A lot of good it seems to have done them. Has anybody heard news about someone buying Leica or anything? After the news that their banks suspended their credit lines I have seen only rumors... Patman10 March 1st, 2005, 09:20 PM I heard they are going out. That's why i am buying everything i can as collector items. The value constantly goes up and this should increase that even more. leptokurtotic March 1st, 2005, 09:22 PM I heard they are going out. I can't imagine that the industry will let that brand name die. If they go into administration they'll surely end up having to sell the patents and brand... but to whom? | Sponsored Ads: |
