Quick release for my tripodKyle March 11th, 2005, 06:39 AM Dose anyone know of an quick release adapter that I can attach to my Tripod. Using a Manfroto tripod.. RobW March 11th, 2005, 06:43 AM Which Manfrotto tripod and head are you using? Henry's (http://www.henrys.com) has tons of parts for Manfrotto tripods. Kyle March 11th, 2005, 07:09 AM Can't rember off the top of my head will look tomorrow. Thanks, ohenry March 11th, 2005, 07:11 AM Bogen/Manfrotto makes a complete line of QR heads. Personally, I don't like their QR heads and plates. I opted to go with an Arca-Swiss style which provides a much more secure connection than Bogen style. Kyle March 11th, 2005, 07:14 AM Would I have to remove the head that is on the tripod now? ohenry March 11th, 2005, 07:24 AM Probably. But that's not a big deal -- other than the cost of a new head. But, what price does one place on securing their expensive SLR system to the tripod? RobW March 11th, 2005, 07:31 AM Is it a Digi-series tripod? If it is then you can't remove the head. That's why I asked which tripod/head combo you have :) Kyle March 13th, 2005, 05:14 PM The Tripod is #190SH The Head is #056 Would not know how to remove the head. Kyle March 13th, 2005, 05:20 PM I actually found the Manfroto quick release plate designed to fit my tripod head. The have them at Henrys. Thanks kixphotography March 14th, 2005, 09:50 AM How does that work? Usually you have to have a different head what will accept QR plates. | Sponsored Ads: |
