I'm not sure what type of fish this is

I took this picture in the Galapagos Islands. I'm not sure what type of fish this is....but I thought it was pretty.

Very cool fish. I'm not sure what kind of fish this is. Ask Ed's boy or Dr dvant. They might know.

It is some type of blenny. Most blennies have the appendages(cirri) above their eyes. Exactly what type of blenny it is I don't know. What did you use to take this. Nice shot btw.

I can try to identify it for you tonight when I get home and reference my fish books.

Definately a blennie....ok, maybe not definately, but I'm fairly certain of it :)

I need more of the fish to go by for an ID. I looked thru my books and nothing stood out at me to narrow it down to anything other than a Blenny. Do you have any full body shots?

ok here's the full shot- Canon 10d, 100mm usm macro f/11 ss 1/125. I'm still trying to woek out the appropriate settings. Any hints?

WOW! All this excitement over a fish! :roll:. .(I heard from a very reliable source, guess who, that you were into birds!) . anybody interested in seeing my daffodil pics? . . . . No, you're NOT! But I will send a bird photo I took the next time you're on a "bird" trip.

It was actually funny as crap. He can pop back some stuff sometimes that has me wiping tears from my eyes, but hell, a lot of you here make me laugh!!!!! (One of my favorite things here....:).)

(See I do have a nice, sweet and friendly side but I have a sinister side too that likes to see the funny poking at each other... :P...I was the brunt of the "screwing up the ABC thread and it was also equally funny...:))
