I was just wondering if you guys knew anything about this type of circular polarizer? I thought the price looked kind of low so I wasn't sure if this is what I need. It's an ebay item so I don't know if you have to have a username to see it...

don't skimp on filters. WHY would you want to put a piece of inferior glass on your camera?? Image degradation is not what makes sharp photos.
Buy a quality polarizer. They're worth the money. You want to get a multicoated circular polarizer. Consider Hoya SMC or B&W brands.

No Brand Name!!!! I wouldn't buy this unknown filter if it were selling for pennies.... Your camera is only as good as the glass in the front, wether it is lenses or filters.. You can have the very best lens and stick on a crappy filter and your lens is equal to that filter...

Kris10, What size polarizer does your lens/lenses take?
I have a couple of 62mm tiffens that I can't use. One is brand new in the box along with an UV one Fry's price was almost 50 dollars for it...
Pay the postage and they're yours...

What Carl said. It doesn't make sense putting on cheap glass, you'll regret it later.

Heather....look at these Hoya filters

The HMC would be my recommendation. Consider the slim model if you shoot with a wide-angle (<24mm) lens.
B+W will cost more, but they are excellent glass and build quality.

I saw this same brand at a camera supply store so that is why I posted it for comments.
look at these Hoya filters
I will check out the Hoya one's. I plan to purchase a polarizer here in the next week or two at the longest. I am tired of blue skies looking WHITE!!! (...or "blown out";).) If you guys say that is cheap glass, then I believe you. I will scratch that one off of my purchase list. Thanks.
Kris10, What size polarizer does your lens/lenses take?
My lens size is a 58mm....
