Cought the National Guard fooling around with a helicopter and a jeep..... Thought the guy watching was worth the off-center crop... I didnt know that blackhawks had guts enough to do that!!!!!

cool picture! I would have been too busy watching to stop and take a picture. Then again, my husband thinks I have my camera attached to my face, so maybe notl.

I like the guy in the picture. It just shows how small he is compared to the large helicopter.

Oh yeah the Army uses Blackhawks for Humvee transport all the time. Did you get to see the guys standing on top of the truck to connect the sling to the hook on the helicopter? That was always fun... except when the helicopter suddenly dropped a few inches and knocked you in the head.

Yeah!!! I actually saw them connecting the lines!!!! this unit might be fairly new to the truck transport, as in 7 years I've never seen them practice this.... not to mention they had a few "aborts" when the truck dropped like 3 or 4 feet when the helicopter was getting a little sketchy!!!!

Wow! I don't think I ever saw a load get dropped out of the air. Anytime I saw an abort they put the load back on the ground and then released it. I guess they are new to it.
