What kinds of cameras are best to use for what purpose???

the brief answer, if you want to print it huge, really huge, then large format cameras. posters then probably medium format. large prints 35mm.

With digital you can get a 17mp medium format back and a 17mb 35mm dslr, both would probably print the same size but im sure the medium back would look better, espeically for what you pay for it.
