I would have liked to see all of the arcs from the glowing/spinning objects as well as not have the bottom of the boot cut off though...but, that's just me.

How'd you expose for her face while still showing the movement of the spinning objects? (what were they, BTW?)

These were glowsticks on strings. It's kinda the raver version of poi, an art of swinging fireballs on the ends of rope (typically performed in Hawaii).

Here's the specs:

Shutter: 0.80 sec
F-Stop: 3.5
Focal Length: 18 (equiv to 28.8mm on a 35mm film camera)
Flash: Yes, fired at the beginning of the exposure (open [or 1st] curtain), bounced off the wall to my left.
