Torn between digital cameras!!!

So here are the two cameras I am trying to decide between so far:

Nikon Coolpix 5900
Canon PowerShot SD200 Digital ELPH

They pretty much fall into my range of $250, but Im not sure which one to get. I really would like something with image stabilizing (For us shakey handed people :P ), good indoor lighting capabilities (Since my apartment has very low light) and really crisp and clear pictures for up close shots. (Which I use to take pictures of my toy collection :D)

Ive read reviews on dpreview.com and dcresource.com and basically, it seems the people like the picture quality more with the Canon PS over the Nikon, but they also say the Canon has above average purple fringing, redeye and some vignetting, especially in flash shots.

Anyone wanna jump in on this one and help me out please. :D

Add this one to the mix:

Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10

The Konica was praised on a few sites I went to and the few bad things I heard about were its plastic body and lower resolution for indoor pics.

I have Nikon SLR but for a P&S, I got Canon due to its acceptance of the CF cards. If you plan to upgrade to a DSLR in the future and don't want to buy new memory cards, the type of memory your camera you're about to purchase could be a deciding factor.

I guess after some thought, I chose the Nikon 5900. :D Looks like it had way more feature for my specific type of lighting, as long as I custom set the quality on the pics, I should be good to go. :)
