Nikon D70 vs Canon EOS 350

I would choose Nikon over Canon till one day I read several posts
about EOS 350 is better a choice for several reasons.
1.Less noise on shadow.
2.Better for handling raw format
3.Color is much more soft.

After doing some homeworks, I think they're both good brands and I
probably can't go wrong either way. My real concern is which lens is
better? Once I choose one of them, I would stick with its lens. If I
was not wrong, lens is the critical one for the image quality.
Anybody here has one of those two cameras? Can I share your
experience? Thanks!

:) :) :)

I would highly recommend EITHER camera system. Both Nikon and Canon produce fine cameras and lenses. Look beyond the box that holds the lens and determine which "system" works better for you. Camera bodies will come and go, but your lenses will stay with you probably.

Lens is a critical part of the camera for sure! if you buy an expensive camera and put a cheap lens on it, that is a bad idea. You get what you pay for with lenses.

Thanks for the suggestion. I guessed I will most likely go with D70.
