Search option?

I've been looking for a search feature and I can't find it. I've belonged to other forums before who didn't have one for various reasons, is that the case here?

Never mind. I was looking for a small button near the new topic button, not a tab.

Why does it seem the only way to answer your question is to ask it and look silly?
