A good old friend of mine from when I used to do video production for his band.
Easily one of the best musicians I've witnessed here in terms of original music from this area. He used to be the lead singer in a band named "michyksaseal" (my-chick-ceceil [don't ask]), which lived from 1996 to 2002 and toured a majority of the midwest US. Since then, Eddie continued to work solo and with close friends downtown. This photo was taken at michyksaseal's reunion show.

Canono D-Rebel
Shutter: 1/20
F-Stop: 5.0
ISO: 1600
Handheld

Post Production:
Slight USM.
The original image shows that it was a blue light exposing the subject, so a lean toward the green and blue channels were made in the channel mixer when converting to bw in PS7.

Great photo Spiral. But then again all of yours are. No kidding you do some great work. How do you get the cool frame? I tried it once but it didn't look as cool.

Thanks for all the comments!

The way I do my border, well first off, the camera takes the picture at 6.3 megapixels, which equals up in X+Y coordinates as 2048x3072, so in Photoshop, I do this:

Image>Canvas Size
In the canvas size window, I add 50 pixels to both X and Y, so 2098x3122 using a white background. This increases the canvas size beyond the picture, creating a small white border.
I then switch the background color to black, and repeat the procedure, but instead of telling it exact pixel coordinates, I increase the width 120% and the height by 115% (for a vertical, opposite for horizontal).

I then select the entire image, and then using the marquee tool, I right click and use the stroke function (3 pixels using white) to create a small white outline. This is primarily for posting on message boards that are black, so you can see the end of the picture.
I then go to IMAGE>Image Size to make the longer side (whether vert. or horiz.) to 650 pixels for posting on message boards.
