Kara August 3rd, 2004, 01:28 AM Dont be fooled - its a lake not the ocean unfortunately
GerryDavid August 3rd, 2004, 02:26 AM Theres northern lights in this pic? Hehe. Or is it the pinkish sky? Whats the exif info of the picture? :0)
Kara August 3rd, 2004, 02:35 AM Quit askin me for EXIF's
I think it was 1/30 @ F5.6
GerryDavid August 3rd, 2004, 02:43 AM Hehe, then provide the exif when you post the images! then we wont have to ask for it. *smirks*. *hands kara a pen and paper for when shes out and about*
Kara August 3rd, 2004, 02:44 AM Yah well usually i just go on my merry clicking way and dont pay attention ;) bad habbit - but tough to break.
GerryDavid August 3rd, 2004, 02:50 AM *glues the notepad to kara's hand then*, hehe. for a reminder.
Kara August 3rd, 2004, 02:51 AM I have a whole notebook and pen deal in my camera bag - and thats exactly where it stays, in my bag. The last time I used it was when I was at Glacier National Park - and even then I think I may have written in it 10 times.... out of 6 rolls of film
GerryDavid August 3rd, 2004, 02:55 AM Perhaps they should come out with a film slr that burns the exif into onto the negative, like a date back, but a exif back. :0). *should patent the idea*. hehe. If I had a few thousand to do so I mean. I got a bunch of money making ideas but dont have the $$$$$ to do the patent process.
Kara August 3rd, 2004, 02:56 AM I didnt know patents were that expensive. It would be a great idea if you were shooting a lot of frames, or just a quick succession of shots at once.
GerryDavid August 3rd, 2004, 03:01 AM But does it actually go on the negative in used space or somewhere else. people wont want to have it on the picture if thier pro's, itll use up negative space and they will have to crop it out.
The patent process is long and expensive, each step having its fee's. Then finding a company to make themfor you is hard as well since they dont want to do low volumn work, but in the thousands or more. So you need investors, etc. Its all alot of hard work and risky, at least what I read into it. I had a couple ideas I use to think were great. Im an idea person, but not good on actually doing it.
Dozer August 3rd, 2004, 01:22 PM Kara,
A well thought out composition, good attention to details.
