Down and Out in RomeRichard Rhodopsin May 16th, 2005, 12:32 AM What a group :? kris10 May 16th, 2005, 12:56 AM Ya know...I looked at this photo for a long time. There seem to be many stories in it? Did you ask them if you could shoot this or did you just "take a chance"? Very emotional shot IMO. unica May 16th, 2005, 01:32 AM i think its a great shot...getting people in their natural elememts Photogomama May 16th, 2005, 01:34 AM poor guys... hope they come into some good luck!!! Great photo!!! Tim L. Walker May 16th, 2005, 06:13 AM Great shot... lots going on and lots of emotion. :D yaya02 May 16th, 2005, 02:00 PM This is a great shot, and as has been mentioned, very full of emotion. In Atlanta, sadly, we see this all the time, but it never fails to make me pause and think, "There but for the grace of God go I." Well done. jenfadder May 16th, 2005, 06:12 PM Nice shot! They didn't speak English, but they understood the money guesture :!: kris10 May 16th, 2005, 08:33 PM Well, that's nice to do though also!!! I know a lot of homeless people would spend their money on alcohol but for the most part even though a lot of them probably are alcoholics, it's almost something they need to have especially in the winter to keep warm. It's sad to sometimes know the reality of our world. I am sure you really helped them out though! I don't know that I would have been able to get this shot. I feel like I am invading people's privacy and therefore I miss a lot of shots that could evoke different emotions. I am reading a book now that talks about this. I hope it will help me get past that fear so I can get some shots of what I want. I surely don't want someone walking up and trashin my camera or punching my lights out for taking a photograph of them either....:? rick barclay May 16th, 2005, 08:40 PM Two dogs and a rabbit? :) Awesome. I hope they all ate good that night. Great shot. Most people in those circumstances would give you the finger. Richard Rhodopsin May 16th, 2005, 09:40 PM Two dogs and a rabbit? :) Awesome. That or I am just very unobservant...:?...though it could be both. :? It's not you - it's a busy photo. The man on the left is actually hiding a roll up  The man on the right is playing with a chain - similar to worry beads  kris10 May 16th, 2005, 10:59 PM Wow, I really like it. Do you mind if I save this to my computer just to have? Might be a "thought" invoking photo for my hubby too. ;). Richard Rhodopsin May 16th, 2005, 11:31 PM Wow, I really like it. Please, be my guest  Also note - the string around the kittens neck  Steve May 17th, 2005, 01:18 AM A classic example of " a picture is worth.... " Nicely done. Richard Rhodopsin May 18th, 2005, 09:50 PM A classic example of " a picture is worth.... " Nicely done. Many thanks  amy lou May 19th, 2005, 12:55 AM Nice pic. It does stir up a lot of emotions. I truly love how the dogs are so comfortable with the rabbit and kitten. It is sad when you see people living in a situation like that, but some of them don't want help from you, there is a homeless man who lives in the city near me who has over a million dollars in his bank, but he prefers to live on the streets. Strange, but true. Richard Rhodopsin May 19th, 2005, 06:32 PM Nice pic. It does stir up a lot of emotions. I truly love how the dogs are so comfortable with the rabbit and kitten. Strange, but true. I know a chap who is into my Sport (Cycling Racing) in the UK - He's a Multimillionaire and owns a car retail chain. He's the struffiest businessman I know and lives rough - strange really :? | Sponsored Ads: |
