I did color it myself, (I don't have a good photo editor yet...LOL Gotta love Paint) but the color is true to their own. You can see what color their eyes really are in the sharing corner under "okay...simple beauty 2" if you want to compare. :D The softness of it is probably just one of my mistakes... yaya02 May 18th, 2005, 11:39 AM I really like this shot. I am a fan of b/w (in certain images) and selective color in b/w (in certain images and when not overdone). I think the pose is great, and it is a very nice portrait shot. I didn't look soft to me -- but I've only been awake for 10 minutes! ohenry May 18th, 2005, 11:56 AM I don't comment often on portraits (especially on people's children :) ) but wanted to comment on some post processing work. Softness is often very acceptable on portraits for the skin, but some selective sharpening on the eyes will bring out a much more pleasing shot. I don't think Paint will do that for you though. There are plenty of editors available at reasonable prices. My suggestion is Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 or 3 for a less expensive option (Photoshop CS2 for serious work). Paint Shop Pro is another viable option and ACDSee offers a pretty good editor for quick fixes, as well. boukaluv May 18th, 2005, 10:00 PM I really like the photo. I think the softness looks fine on portraits nice composition i think as well. callady10 May 19th, 2005, 04:53 AM Great shot, My only suggestion is to clone out the stray hairs on the left | Sponsored Ads: |
