Folks, this is Big Red, my favorite past time. She's one of two. This one is a dragstrip warrior and a street terror. The other one is for groceries  . It's exactly like this one except the color is peuter and it has an automatic tranny. My wifey will not let me drive the grocery car unless she's with me (have no idea why she's like that  ).

Not to sound like an idiot, but is it a Pontiac?

Oh...do I have to?
I think my photography equipment is worth more than my car
I'll just say there is duct tape involved

Wait until I somehow manage to get a line of credit. Then I'll show a car

Beautiful car... not a huge pontiac fan, but that's probably one of the few that I like. ;) A good ol' American muscle car. ;)

I may post a pic when I get around to it. :0) but its not a racing car, but a camry wagon. Sniffle, I had to give the keys to someone today to move it, first time ive had to do that, felt so wrong, hehe. Plus I think he drove with the parking brake on.

I didn't take these photographs, though... they were taken by the company that installed the custom grills for the website. ;)

Odd licence plate you got there. Oh so your posting someone elses pictures? do you have written permission? hehe. I was about to bug ya for posting your own pictures even though you dedicated yourself not to. *smirks*.

I don't mean to change the content of the thread, but could tell us a little about the Engine,Power train, and performance?

Not quite the powerhouse yours is... I don't race her or anything... but last time she was in, she was dyno-tested @ 256 ft-lbs, and peak horsepower was 227 hp. It's the 35th Anniversary Edition mustang, but she's just the V6. Not a racing car, but she looks good, and she can hold her own.

227 horses out of the V6 Tim? Not bad at all I must say, since Ford rated the 3.8's in the stangs at 190hp...so...what special secrets are you hiding under that hood 8)

Yeah, I just had that on as I had to travel quite a ways to get the grills installed..... not sure why they never bothered to take it off for the photos... oh well. ;)

That's great! 227 RWHP equates to about 266 advertised hp or 266 hp at the crank. That's nothing to sneeze at!

Most of the members in my croud have mustangs. A mustang will be my next toy.

I know guys like that, too. Some of my kids are like that :D

My wife and I have done without until our kids were grown and out of college. We never had any of the niceties for ourselves until after everyone else received what they wanted/needed and then if there was anything left, we would occasionally share in it (there was seldom anything left :D ). Our kids have grown and flown the coup :( . Our home, our cars, and everything we own has long since been paid for. And neither cameras or cars are our only hobbies. It was a long road and a rough ride, but we made it--there is now time for US. Life is way KEWL!

Cheers, Everyone. Thanks for commenting
Cheers

Is that your van? LOL.

Oh, and I don't spend every penny on my car... I'm a computer geek, remember... ;) Though I must admit my car is worth more than my computers. ;) Cars are fun, though... especially a ragtop with a good sound system... hehe.
