Thoughts?
Took this with my boyfriend's Digital Rebel the other day. I wish I hadn't centered it so much, but other than that I like it.

Yeah, it turned out pretty well, Corry... I don't mind it being horizontally centered, but it would have been more interesting if it was less vertically centered... you could always crop it a bit, though, to change that... it's a little dark, but the focus and dof looks great!

Core, with your permission I could adjust the levels and show you what 3 seconds of photoshopping can do. I just played with it and it made it a bit brighter. Unless you got photoshop and know how to do this, hehe.

I have photoshop, and know how to 'play' with the levels....but I don't actually know what I'm doing yet. Go ahead and show me.

And if you're going to show her, Gerry, document everything you're doing and why. :D

I opened it in photoshop, opened levels *ctrl L I believe* and hit auto levels. Then I moved the middle slider to the left a bit to make it a bit brighter. Then saved. Took about 5 seconds to do in total.
What auto levels does *if its setup this way* is go into each color channel *red, green and blue*, and move the left and right sliders to the end of the graph, so instead of say 200 shades of blue on the dark end of hte spectrum, it spreads it out over 256 shades over the entire blue specrum, and then the same for the other channels. It doesnt always work with every image, like if there isnt much color there to begin with.
Say you took a picture at sunset and there wa sa reddish tint to the entire image. You could go into levels and go to the red channel and slide the medium slider down a bit and it would reduce the red and make it look more natural. :0).
Just a quick review, hehe.

Theres not a huge difference, the original seems to look a bit duller in comparison, but if you dont have them side by side it is harder to see the differences. :0).
