2nd thought, thats low pay for Toronto. I dont think that would even cover rent in a descent driveable time to the tower.

Hmm...the topic was interesting, until I saw the pay. ick. Goes to show the *huge* income out there for photography :P
For that much pay I'll just keep mowing grass.

I've seen those guys there... it would be boring as hell... and the pay bites. ;)

It would be better to set up your own tourist photography setup there and keep the profits for yourself. but youd have to get permission and/or a business permit for it I think.

Yeah... a vendor's licence or something... might be worth it during tourist season. ;) I bet Rob could make a good living doing something like that @ Niagara Falls...

LOL you be quiet. Although on several occasions people have approached me to have their picture taken (because I look like a photographer). I should start charging for it :P

Youd prob need a gimmick to make money at this over there. The prob would be to either mail the print to them or have a notebook/printer est up to print it on the spot. Perhaps have a sign....... have camera, will shoot. :0).

I bet you could set up a profitable business doing that there... you would have to get a vendors licence, I would assume, though...

Or you could take their cameras and run! Quick profit, short-lived job!

Nah, everyone there uses either the disposable ones or those APS cameras.
Once in a while though, I do see a 1DS, or sometimes even a 'blad

Id say having a printer on site would be the way to go, have one person taking the photos and the other printing them up - people are impatient these days, Im sure theyd pay good money to have a nice picture of them.

I thought about doing something there, but my merchandise idea isnt possible yet. I got hte name of the one material but I just gotta find a cheap place to buy it now. Then make the merchandise. The studio on site would be an interesting touch. As well you could sell 8X10 or larger prints of the scenery. Everything is over priced there as it is so you should be able to make descent money. :0)

I wonder how hard it would be to get a vendors permit.
