my first pic with my new DSLR

I am posting my 1st pic with my Olympus E300. Thanks to all, after much contemplation betwee, EOS 350d, D70s and E300. I settled for the E 300.
I have not got the hang of the camera yet.this was taken of the rains. Please provide your feedback.

Shutter speed is too slow in both instances, unless you were going for the motion blur effect of the vehicles. Was the second shot taken inside a shelter or something?

I did take this with slow shutter speed not for the motion of vehicles. I thought i would be able to capture something of the rain falling. I failed i suppose.I dont remember the exact shutter speed, i had set it at shutter priority.I shot the same rain in higher shutter speeds too. Those look very different.I will post them in the next post.
