Last Weekend's Air Show #1

A couple weeks ago, I posted a request for some help & tips for an upcoming Air Show that I was planning on attending.

This was the first Air Show I've been to and my first attempt at photographing some quick moving airplanes. I followed the "Sunny F16 Rule" on Fuji NPH 400 speed film on my Nikon N90 with Tamron 200-400 F5.6 lens.

This is (I think) a C-130

(cropped & levels adjusted in Photoshop)

Let me know what you guys think!

I love airplanes. Have you gotten any more?
I really like this enormous Bird. Has a very unique sound, doesnt it? Your photo is nice and crisp with the spiral of the propellers trailing behind. I really like it.

Yes, I have more...I shot about 3 rolls of film that day and just got them back today.
I'm sure that if I have more good ones (I sure hope!) that I'll post them as well. I do want feedback on this and any others so I'll probably post them here.

Yes, the sound of this ginormous beast is really cool.
This was the transport for 2 parachute teams that day as well.

Thanks for your comments/feedback about the focus and spiraling propellars (I like them too! :))

Any other feedback?

I wonder if you would have captured the spiral trails from the propellers if the airplane was front lit.

I don't know...but I know I like it better this way!
