I didn't really know where to post this, since it's a technical question. At last I chose here because I assume more people would see it here X_x
Anyways, I'm considering gettin a 80-200mm f/2.8 lens for my Nikon D70, but I've read on Ken Rockwell's site that they might not be very compatible-
"Oddly I've heard a couple of others have inaccurate focussing at f/2.8 at 200 mm on a D70. if you want to use this on a D70 I'd check this carefully. The one I used worked great on my F100."

By this did he mean the inaccurate focusing only occurs at f/2.8 and at 200mm, that it's fine on any other setting?
i've checked Thom Hogan's website but he didn't even have a review for this particular lens, only the 70-200 VR.
I'm worried!
And another thing, do you guys really think VR is worth the price? That's it's al that effective? Do you think in the near future Nikon or Canon will come up with their own built-in-camera VR like minolta? Because then the lens VR will be obselete.
