HAHAHAHA. A girl that I worked for was cleaning out her attic and found this camera in it. She asked me if I wanted it. I looked at her like...you idiot...all I think about is taking pictures and experimenting and so I said OF COURSE YOU DORK!!!

I looked it up on ebay and one person is selling a whole slew of accesories to include the camera itself, a flash a shutter release cord and a couple of other things for FIVE DOLLARS!!!!!!! I also saw the camera for sale by itself on Ebay for ONE DOLLAR!!! LMAO!!! I know NOTHING about this little plastic thing except that it only has four apertures and no shutter speeds. No "auto" functions either. It has a little chart on the top that looks like this:

ASA--------------100 6.3 8 11 16
ASA--------------400 8 11 16 -

How difficult can ya get? This would be great for serious beginners man! I can't believe how excited I am to get this camera...I will post some images after I use it for the first time.

I have wanted to purchase one of those cheapo little plastic Holga's to mess around with but I think this one will do just the trick.. It's so generic and cheap that the lens cap just says "camera". LMAO!! I never thought I could get so excited about a cheap platic camera. I am thinking about poking a hole in the lens cover to try to use it as a pinhole camera which is something I have never used.

Do any of you have any experience with these and if so...please tell me more about it.

Lalalala...I got a cheap camera...lalalalalala!!! Watch...this will be the camera that exposes my BEST photograph after shooting for more than six months with one that cost way more than this one did. LOL!!! I just had to share with you guys. If any of you know anything about them...please enlighten me....(just don't burst my bubble...k?) 8)

Heather, if you buy the eBay lot so that you have two of the cameras, then you can turn one of them into a pinhole cam.

But if you plan on using it as a regular camera, you can't turn it into a pinhole cam. That will require taking off the lens and shutter assembly, unless it has a bulb setting, and you'll still have to take out the lens.

Hehehe. If I get the "lot" from Ebay as the Doc says, maybe I will send you the one camera that comes with it....hehehehe. Then we can brag about our plastic camera's. 8) Maybe Tim would make us a special "Plastic Camera Photo's" forum....:msred: .

How would I go about doing this? Couldn't I just do it through a hole in the lens cap? I don't know a thing about pin hole camera's. Guess I should read up on them before I start disassembling this "cheap" plastic camera. :?

Too funny!

My grandpa brought back a Zeiss camera from germany when he was in the war. He gave it to me a few years ago and I've always wanted to see if it would work.

It kinda looks like this but a bit different. http://www.shutterbug.net/columns/1203sb_classic/

Well, do you still have it? That looks like a pretty cool camera to mess around with. I think I may just start a "cheap camera" collection. That would be too cool!

Yea, I still have it. My son (he's 6) is totally facinated with it. One day I'll take it into the photography shop and have them take a look at it. At least they could tell me if it would work and how to load the film.

"cheap camera" collection.

That would so totally rock! However, if you displayed them, people may look at you funny.

NEVER underestimate the power of a cheap camera  I have both a holga and a couple of polaroid land cameras that I use for emulsion lifts and transfers - I swear its like a disease.

I really want a lomo lc-a, they say its like the 35mm holga, but theyre pretty expensive.

I hope you win, enjoy your camera

I think I will still get a Holga eventually. I have seen some really neat pictures with cool looking vignetting (sp?) on the edges taken with one of those.
