Hi Ayjay, I've got ideas running rampant for the Canon shoot but nothing firm yet. I'd better start getting stuff together, we've only got roughly 4 weeks to get them in and work keeps me so tied up these days that I can only shoot on the weekend. I shot some with the glasses but I'm not happy with them...oh well, back to the drawing board.
Hey Ayjay
Glad to hear the box turned up. Yes, all contestants get the same contents. I'm not looking forward to the paint assignment...I'm not fond of mess! :-)
Thanks - we're taking care of it right now. In the future, if you see spam, just click on the "scale" button on the post to report it, and it sends out an email to myself and the mods. :)
Our chatroom seems to host the ghost of the last person out when we chat....and the ghost stays at least the rest of the day and sometimes the next......if you like I will send you a message when we are there that gives a day and time stamp so if you get it in a resonable time you can catch us....would love to have more members join us........
i forgot to say when i take my camera out i normally trash 90% of the shot's and i've heard it said before if you produce about 5 amazing (totally amazing) photo's a year that's a good year.(in less your names shutterbug)
after your fantastic photo's and win's (upside down - paper dollar) i'm not sure how you could think and say this you have obviously got a great eye and produce top quality and creative photo's?
Yes, Shutterbug is amazing. I like his style. But like you, I'm surprised he doesn't get many comments. Probably like a lot of other really good photographers here. I organize my photos with photoshop, so didn't really want to use this for organising, but maybe I should put some here anyway. I just never really thought I was good enough to use 'gallery' space. I sort of figured it was set aside, or should be, for the really good ones. (I have a bit of a confidence issue). Not looking for praise here Danielle, just being honest. Most of my photos are absolutely crappy. I just spent all day today in Melbourne with sole purpose of taking photos and came home with maybe two that are at best mediocre. The good thing is, nothing can dampen my enthusiasm. I love it.
That would be great if you did for me it's a good way to organize my photo's, i was disheartened at first because people don't really comment and give photo's point's so i thought i was just really rubbish at taking photo's but if you look at some one like shutterbug's gallery he doesn't get many comment's and point's either and his photo's are amazing, but still i think it's good to have a gallery space people can look through.
