I shot this quite awhile ago, on a very hot sultry evening at home in Tahiti. I have always liked it for the suggestion of a kick back tranquil lifestile that we have there...

hi, nice shot

could definitely benefit from a slight saturation boost and a little bit of cropping at the bottom.... but other than that its very pretty

I like it, actually.... the crop at the bottom is better for sure... but it still needs something as far as cropping goes... the horizon is still too close to cutting the photo in half... know what I mean?

Tim, should I crop it from the bottom up to the reflections in the water???

Tim L. Walker October 10th, 2004 12:52 PM

No, I think that would start to take away from it a bit... Hmm...

I did a slight curves adjustment and burnt the clouds in ps, cloned some of the blown out sky. Its rough, but its what you can do.

Great image btw.

Thanx Kara, I see the difference and like it... You cropped up from the bottom also and I think that improved it also... Nice work btw

Maruru Roa!

Oh yeah forgot to mention I cropped

Im glad you liked it! Photoshop is a wonderful thing, especially when you play with a full deck of cards. Im only playing with a couple at the moment, and I still love it!
