Re: Who is still around from 10 years ago? or at least 8 years ago?

I'm still kicking. I've fought off some serious health issues and been free of the evil cancer for a couple of years. I have a new photo related gig too. I shoot for a publisher who does...

Brogan Does Bubbles

My niece's young son Brogan is making Grandma's driveway all bubbly. It was 86 degrees F and he wouldn't give up the hat. Shot with a Nikon D7000 & 18-200 VR lens.

Re: Willis Tower Reflection

I like how the window nicely frames the reflection of the building. The HDR does nothing for me.

Re: Backyard Shots

I prefer the second one with a little tighter crop. I also like the inclusion of the lamp as well. It provides a little splash of a different color in the scene.

Re: My weekend getaway

Thanks for your kind words. I slow my shutter when the mood suits me to do so. I liked it in this shot because the mossy rocks and subdued light seemed to make it fit well. To each their own.

My weekend getaway

This was the first chance I've had to go out with camera for a very long time. I had to go to one of my favorite spots and sit and listen to the water rush over the rocks.

Re: Corner Member Close Up: Michelle Oppegard

Great write up Michelle. I love your photos. I really need to get up to North Dakota some time with camera in hand. Your images really show the beauty of your state.

Re: Keela & Bella

I'm wondering if a tighter crop on the first shot might remove some of the distractions. I don't care for the angle on the second shot. Both shots are nice and crisp and nicely exposed.

Re: Ducky

Nice job with the exposure. I think she would have cracked a bigger smile with the offer of some bread crumbs. ;-)

Re: Tables 'n' Chairs

Like the metallic feel of the chairs and the clean lines. Perfect image for B&W.

Re: Hirosaki (Sakura) Cherry Blossom Festival

You've done quite well considering the overcast day. I really like how the blossoms sort of frame your shot and how the red bridge really stands out.
