I have been experimenting with high key for a while now, controlling spill is the key it stops the image washing out and keeps the subject vibrant.

Since I upgraded to a Canon 5D I find it more difficult to get satisfactory downsizes from full res files, for posting. I'm thinking of using the in camera jpegs are files for posting on forums.

I had the softbox without the front diffuser...

I had the softbox without the front diffuser fitted tight to his face, I could do some post work to tame the hot area but it prints well, I may be better to do a web version with these type of shots.
