The color is from some wrapping paper I put under the clear casserole dish that the water is in. I tried yesterday with a piece of red paper under the dish this time...........

I was at f/8 and 1/60 sec. shutter speed. I used 400 ASA. Probably should have used 100-200. Yes, I was on a tripod. I was after the smoke, and not the flame or match.
