Top image - Find the branches on the right interfere with the image. Don't get the point of the 2nd image . 3rd image is fine, though would like to see a little more sparkle on the icicle.

The 28-135 is superb at 50mm (as good as the prime 50mm) . Above and below quality falls markedly.
I found the efs 17-85 disappointing. The only way to go for really sharp images is the "L" series...

I fuind the skin tones too harsh for a female model for my taste . much prefer softer tones.
