I do love this shot, but something about just seems "off" to me... I'm not exactly sure what and I'm not a pro or even an amateur just a hobbyist... I think it has to do with the way the sky...

This shot is the only one that turned out of this red-tailed hawk as he flew past me. I really need to practice my panning. :roll:

Nice thing about it is though, he/she is always in the same area...

I too am in PA... SE PA actually, in a little town called Oley. Nothing much around here cept farmland... oh, and I'm about 20 minutes from Reading if that matters in Berks county.

I use Macromedia Fireworks as my image...

I use Macromedia Fireworks as my image manipulation software. I have Photoshop but I just haven't loaded it onto this hard drive yet.



I am kind of limited to what I can do with my P&S Kodak...

9 centimeters isn't very far at all. I don't think I'd ever get that close. Although most of the time when you have a camera against your face you don't realize just how close you get taking those...

Overall it's a very nice image... I only have one complaint about it and that is her skin looks fake... too perfect.. so it doesn't look natural to me. Other than that though it's a great capture.
