We spent a weekend at a hotel in Hershey, PA just an hour's drive away.
Marty is off of oxygen support as of this morning and finally able to eat solid food again. (He was being fed thru a tube before.) Tomorrow it is hoped that he gets moved from Intensive Care to the Physical Therapy ward. He's going to need lots of help getting his legs and arms strengthened from being bedbound for over 2 weeks.
Plus Legionnaires, unlike other pneumonia strains, attacks not only the lungs, but can affect the brain, muscles, kidneys, liver, blood system, hearing and eye sight. It's going to be a long recovery for him.
Thank you all for the well wishes, my friends. He's got a lot of Guardian Angels around the world.
