Reviewing Sequoia Nat Park

So after learning photoshop I have found myself wandering my own archives and improving some of my earlier shots and even finding some hidden unintentional pano shots.

These are from the trail to Alta Peak











Its been a real joy to go back in and make some of these pop even more and finding even more hidden gems like the panos.

I learned a new techniques for color saturation that seems to work better than use an HSB layer though I still may use that from time to time for better control of skin tones. Basically is uses the selective color feature to allow setting point for each color (you do need to understand the color wheel to add or subtract) for each color and then save as a preset. After hitting the preset you can modify individual color levels, It does a much better job of not causing banding issues in skies
