Re: Watercolor Landscape

There are filters that will get rid of that color noise.... Just kidding of course.

It's an original idea but I'm not sure it makes me think watercolor. I like everything but the sky.

Re: Watercolor Landscape

A bit too much for my tastes, but different.

Re: Watercolor Landscape

still on the fence as to whether or not I like this. Falls more into a pure artistic venture thats for certain. But I do find I have come back and looked at it a few times trying to figure out which side of the fence to fall on. Way to catch peoples attention.

Re: Watercolor Landscape

Appreciate the feedback. Photography is a learning process that I'm enjoying.

I've adjusted the temperature on a photo with the same composition on the same morning, is this any better?

Re: Watercolor Landscape

This version is much better IMO. The dark blue skies against the silhouetted trees and foreground has a nice contrast to it. I'm not enamored with the foreground foilage, however.

Re: Watercolor Landscape

This one is a whole new concept. I like it much more. I like the trees showing just enuf detail that they are not a complete silhouette - but close. That gives me a real feel for the evening.

Re: Watercolor Landscape

This is a whole new concept as reeflections has pointed out. I much prefer what you have going here as well. Completely different feel to the image. I really enjoy the skeletons of trees and the silhouette effect is very effective. The light hitting the top sides of the branches gives it a lighter feeling. And did you add vignetting? It would appear so and helps the image in this case. Nice job of processing.

Re: Watercolor Landscape

I have to agree with Russell here. The slight vignette narrows the vision to the silhouettes, and the blue tones add an element of mystery. This is a beauty, actually!
