Downloading from Gallery
I recently had to format my computer that had some of the images I've uploaded to the gallery here. Is there anyway to download our own photo's that we've uploaded?

Not easily (don't want to make it too easy for people to steal our photos...). But it is doable - photo by photo. If you go to the photo you want to download from the gallery, scroll down to the bottom where it says "Direct Link." Click on the "Copy to Clipboard" button next to that, and then paste that URL into a browser. That will bring up the full version of you photo - just right click and 'Save As...' from there and you're all set.

Is this something only the owner of the photo can do (the person who uploaded it)? If not, is there a setting that could be put on there, so photo theft won't be possible? You know, like what I can put on my SmugMug galleries? Just wondering.

Not for this work-around, unfortunately... we do have several safeguards in place, but none of them are perfect...

Thanks for the help Tim. I understand not making it easy to download the photo's and I figured that it was to help protect the user's photos.
