A couple of notable things here:

• As Mark and others mentioned, you progress steadily in the results you achieve, most recently in your portrait lighting images.
• A number of people have commented and offered their alternatives, testimony to their comfort in your ability to receive critique without being offended (ie a diva!) in the slightest. A special kudos here!

I do like the image. The skin might benefit slightly from some smoothing....but that's easily overdone. You might soften and/or crop the background....but I also think that the blur in the original is satisfactory as is and I certainly wouldn't crop into her head. I think some of the alternatives might reflect varying brightness levels of one member's monitor vs another's, ie one alt is too bright and another too dark. I'm generally opposed to vignetting unless done VERY subtly. The one thing I'm surprised no one mentioned (and thus I will) is that there is a slight CCW tilt to the image noting wall corner on left and window bars in upper right, perhaps intentional but for some of us its noticeable/distracting!

Russ, YOU ROCK! Thanks! Yes, the tilt was unintentional but I didn't want to tilt it too much because I didn't want to crop too much of her hair, I'll work it some more.

Very nice Sharna, not much to mention here other than what the others have said.

I've enjoyed seeing the progress in the retouches as well. It is nice to see how the shot evolves from the critiques. I don't see many posting their reworks as they go along, myself included. I think at times we just do the updates and move on.

Great work Sharna. At first the split tone background bothered me a bit, but after looking at this several times I think it sort of interesting. I too think it's blurred just right. The pose is superb.
