Interesting article though not everyone is shooting people with posed models and such. It also seemed to be more focus on shooting female models and igoring their male counter parts. Sometime with the dog events I like to get shots of handlers working their dogs and well some handlers are more photogenic than others.
One difficulty I have is that I can't tell a handler to run on the other side of the aframe or dog walk to include them in the shot...I have to deal with lighting, clothing, and what's available. In many cases I can crop photos in a way that shows the handler working, but do not emphasize the handler as much as the dog. |
