Studio lights recommendations?

does anyone have thoughts on recommended studio lights? I have used Profoto but they are expensive and are considering other brands.

Re: Studio lights recommendations?

I use AlienBee. They are made by Paul C. Buff (paulcbuff.com). He has other models as well such as Einstein and White Lightening and Zeus. Each brand has it's different focus, so I'd suggest taking a look at each. They make a great product and you will see photographers from amateur to pro using these lights for their reliability, quality of light, and affordability.

What Jesse said. I use Alien Bee also. I know other photographers that also use Einstein. Very reliable, easy on the wallet, great accessories.
