For my Canon peeps

So...I am contemplating a new camera body. Anyone using the Rebel SL1 that could give me advice? It would definitely be a step up from where I am at, but when it comes to dropping mildly serious cash, even when I am familiar with and using the brand, I still harbor some reservations. I mean, it's "only" $399 at B&H, but am just curious if anyone uses/used this particular body and what your thoughts are.
Need Motivations.
