Dew Drop

I haven't used my macro lens for a while but decided to give it a try when I was at the park the other morning. I loved how the grass was sparkling in the sun.

Re: Dew Drop

Very nice. I wonder though if the bottom drop drop might be a little distracting. Great color saturation on this, the green is just brilliant.

Thank you for your comments.
AgileDogs...I was thinking the same. I need to clean up that lower corner.

I actually didn't notice the bottom drop the first time I looked at the image. I went back after reading Agile's post, and now it is one of those, "What has been seen can not be unseen" moments.

My only nit, and it's a very small one, is that the grass blade is in the corner. I was taught that it shouldn't be in the corner, but off corner somewhere because in the corner it leads the viewer out of the picture. I think the bright dew drop at the tip of the blade though draws the eyes in, so I would call it a technical nit. And to be honest...in this case, I think it's one I would ignore.

Re: Dew Drop

It's a beautiful photo!

I had a quick go with the photo Traci, and it definitely looks better without the other drop and cloned out the other dark area.

Re: Dew Drop

On art being subjective I rather like the inclusion of the small drop...
