Does Adobe Lightroom backup the images in the cloud?

One of my friends is using Adobe Lightroom for photo editing, she just asked me this. Does Adobe Lightroom backup the images in the cloud?

Not as far as I know. Its possible maybe to configure to store the back up to a cloud location or a location that you have configured to be backed up by your cloud software. LR also does not truly back up images, it backs up the edits you have made to an image.
