An immature sora (4)

Just some of the 200+ photos I got of a young sora this afternoon at my favorite "bird park"... the sora is a relative of the rail, a small water-bird that lives in marshes and wetlands. They're not rare birds, but they are rarely seen, preferring to stay hidden back in the reeds and grasses, so it was a real treat to spend the better part of an hour photographing this little one!
