These are a few of the images I took of a memorial when traveling through Cheyenne WY. They were awesome.

The contrast and detail in that first shot are wonderful. I like the back-lighting effect on the second shot, though I would have liked to have seen either a bit more detail/contrast in the figure, or a lot less as a silhouette. But that's just me - you did a wonderful job composing these.

Thanks for the comments. It was a very cold and dreary day...the sky was overcasted. I will have to venture that way again and see if I can get a better sky. I will experiment in PS on the Virgin Mary to see what I can do to perfect it until then. She is about 60 feet tall. The other statues are about 6 feet tall. Just for the record, they are in Pine Bluff WY not in Cheyenne as I first mentioned.
