Will it really make a difference in sharpness having a mirrorless camera?

Re: Understanding DSLR vs. Mirrorless Cameras

I still prefer DSLR but I know some amateur photographers who choose mirrorless cameras.

Re: Understanding DSLR vs. Mirrorless Cameras

In the final print analysis you cannot really see any difference in sharpness in similar images produced by either camera. What the defining factor really is, at least for me, I cannot see the electronic image (EVF) well enough to determine if my focus is set as I want it for my subject. Could I have more faith in auto focus...perhaps, but that is why I prefer a dslr.

Re: Understanding DSLR vs. Mirrorless Cameras

Mirrorless cameras have the advantage of usually being lighter, more compact, faster and better for video; but that comes at the cost of access to fewer lenses and accessories. DSLRs advantages include a wider selection of lenses and better optical viewfinders.
