another blackbird

i have plenty of shots of these little guys, but they's such little hams, and so photogenic, i just can't resist 'em! this little fella was looking up into the light, almost like one of those Renaissance paintings of a supplicant at the altar, so i grabbed a shot. 7DII, 600mm, 1/250 @ f/8

Re: another blackbird

Wonderful detailing, and even though the light seems like it might be a bit harsh, it really brings out the detail on the front. Plus that only adds to your "supplicant at the altar" look with the "holy light" shining down upon him. All he needs now is a little piece of white at the throat and he'd be all set to give a sermon.

Re: another blackbird

Actually I take back what I said about harsh lighting. The only spot that seems "harsh" is right on his feet and those just seem more reflective of the light than the rest of it.
