Have male and female, so what is this?

Hi, folks,

I spend several hours last night trying to identify this blackbird, but no photos of it on Internet or in my book. Here's the puzzle:

In order, the photos here are
male and female redwinged blackbirds,
different-coloured female-looking blackbird showing sides and chest/abdomen colouration,and
both female-looking blackbirds showing back and tail.

I'd sure appreciate it if someone here could identify this other blackbird, and many thanks for any help you can provide.

It may be a young red-winged black bird. In my books it shows them in the first year with a different plumage. It looks like a cross between the first year plumage and the adult plumage.

Thank you, Dave. I wondered if it was a juvenile, but it's substantially larger than the adult female, and it doesn't look like it's morphing towards the all-black plumage of the male. That's why I was stumped.

All the best,

Hmmm .... on looking at the photos again, maybe it IS changing into the adult male!
