Nikon D500 Preview

Nikon simply shocked the photo world by announcing a D500. Yes this camera is the official replacement of the way outdated Nikon D300s.

Re: Nikon D500 Preview

Would love to get my hands on one, but for now, I'm satisfied with my current D300s with plans to get my hands on another D300s as a backup and possibly a D700 if I plan to go full-frame. At $2699.99; it's too far out of my price-range financially.

Where are you from Animal? Average price from US sellers is $1996.00.
Body only.
For myself, I'd prefer the upgrade to either D500, or D750.
I like the higher ISO capabilities of both, but I'm leaning towards the full frame just for the larger viewfinder. My eyes are aging along with the rest of me.
