Oak Canyon After the storm

Finally I got to see what this looks like when there is a waterfall. Its been dry for nearly a decade and recent storms have livened it up. I even brought my tripod for some extra long exposures

Old Mission Dam

The spill area has been flowing at times but the dam it self I have never seen overflow like this.

We have had so much rain that the trail itself was flooded.

With many crossings, rock hopping and overland adventuring I finally made it to the first cascade.

The middle cascade was not accessible from a good vantage point so I continued on and even pushed passed a somewhat difficult crossing where I nearly lost a shoe. I finally made it to the falls and made plans for a different return.

I shot a separate shot for BW

Even these trails were flooded in places.

I was treated to a wonderful sunset

Very nice set Clark, The shots of the falls are perfect. I bet that won't happen again for a long time. This is the most rain we've seen in years and it is much needed.

Beautiful shots. You're fortunate to live in such a scenic area.
