Re: lighthouse

Hi Mike
This is an interesting position for a lighthouse. Doesn't look like a dangerous spot at all. It's so bizzare for me to see snow near the ocean...just doesn't happen in Australia!! Interesting geometry in the couds!

Re: lighthouse

Great capture. It works well for me. Wish I could be more "constructive" than that, but great shot.

Re: lighthouse

The colors are great. I do think there is too much foreground in this one for my taste. Perhaps from a lower and tighter approacher?

Re: lighthouse

i think the composition is good.. if you cropped or zoomed it much, you'd lose the tree on the left, and i think that adds to the image. a little extra work with the colors in post processing would really make this pop. also, there seems to be an unnaturally dark spot on the left, just to the right right of the tree... was that a lighting thing, ir is it an HDR artifact?

Re: lighthouse

Mike,
I think the colors are very nice, although there is too much foreground for me in this one. I think framed differently and it would kick butt alot more. Anyway good capture.

Re: lighthouse

Fascinatingly beautiful How could you manage to create such great exposure. With the snow in the foreground, the white house it is tremendous.

Re: lighthouse

Nice one MIke. Great colours and exposure. Since the foreground has come up....I dont mind it at all. Everything leads my eye to the lighthouse even the swirls in the clouds.
