Re: $ no object- the truth please.

I like lightweight gear so big cameras and lenses are of no interest to me. I'd buy exactly what I have. For most shooting I use a D3100, Tamron 18-270 VC PZD, Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6, Nikon 10.5mm FF FE, and sometimes I bring my Nikon 35mm f/1.8 and/or either my SB-600 or more often my lighter SB-400.

For the zoo or aquarium I use my Sigma 50-150 f/2.8 and/or Nikon 55-300 VR. For most family shooting I use my Nikon 18-105 VR and D90.

This is all relatively lightweight and more than meets my needs.
